John Jenkins is a Liverpool Singer Songwriter who performs either solo or with his bands "John Jenkins and The James Street Band" or a smaller acoustic outfit . A firm favourite on the Local original live music scene, he has received much praise for his songs and their range of diversity. He was joint winner of the 2015 Liverpool Acoustic Songwriting Challenge and finalist in 2016 and 2019. His latest Album "Growing Old - Songs from My Front Porch" has received amazing reviews. He signed to "Fretsore Records" in January 2021
