As a singer/songwriter, Phil has been active since 2009. He has released 5 albums and several standalone singles gaining great reviews in national press, as well as national and international radio play. Phil's solo material jumps around genres, from stripped back folk (The 9 Album), through classic pop-rock (Things I'll Never Say, Thoughts and Observations) to full on alternative rock (These Revelation Games).

His unique rootsy guitar style is layered with inflections of sitar and sarod. This ability to merge scales, and techniques from classical Indian music with slide guitar playing, are down to his continual search for commonality where there is difference. “The fusion happened inside me… what you hear is the sound of my varied experiences. TangleJack took its current form and name in 2013 when old friends and bandmates John-Paul Davies and Duncan Leigh began to perfect the two-part harmony and double guitar duet style that is now the duo’s signature sound. Jess Tuthill is a singer-songwriter from Reading. She has been writing music for over 20 years, taking inspiration from her surroundings, which regularly including television and computer games… For the last 8 years, her instrument of choice has been the ukulele, mainly so she can feel like a giant when she plays.
A welcome return of acclaimed singer song writer Jim Cozens to our Online Music club. A classic singer songwriter and story teller, his songs are personal, universal, joyful and moving. In a long, eclectic career he’s written songs for other artists, music for radio, television and movie productions and, once upon a time, survived the Eurovision circus. He studied at the college of Lennon and McCartney and has a first class honours degree in James Taylor.
