The Lost Trades

The Lost Trades are a trio of Wiltshire based singer songwriters (Jamie R Hawkins, Phil Cooper and Tamsin Quin) who, brought together by a mutual love of folk and roots music, have joined forces for a three part harmony, modern folk adventure. Performing both collectively and individually penned songs, The Lost Trades tell carefully crafted stories using an array of stringed instruments and light percussion, all lovingly stitched together with soaring vocal harmonies.

Tomorrow Bird

Tomorrow Bird is a British acoustic duo comprising of solo artist Jen Bird and Simon Driscoll from the folk- rock band, Burnt Tomorrow. Drawing influences from bands such as The Civil Wars, their haunting melodies and heart-felt lyrics have transfixed audiences and marked them out as a band to watch!

Cafe Chaos

Café Chaos’s style has been richly described as a “ Floyd-esque rock band with a heavy dash of Gary Moore, Focus, Colosseum, Camel and Led Zep (for those that remember that era!) brought up to date with modern rhythms and sounds ”.

Exploring  Songwriting with Phil Cooper

Have you ever wondered how a song is born? There’ s a magic to it that remains mysterious even to the most experienced songwriter. In “Exploring Songwriting”, singer-songwriter Phil Cooper presents an evening of live music and spoken word, exploring the art of songwriting. Through stories and examples he explains how a song can come into existence within a matter of minutes, and how some songs can take years to perfect. He demonstrates some of his own approaches and methods, in an accessible, interesting and entertaining manner .

Captain of the Lost Waves

The Captain is a troubadour, storyteller and free thinking renegade. His musical offerings are inspired by the great songwriters and philosophers of yesteryear. This is visceral music for the mind and body, full of dreamy verses, life affirming choruses and sheer audacity. Jess Tuthill

Jess Tuthill is a singer-songwriter from Reading. She has been writing music for over 20 years, taking inspiration from her surroundings, which regularly including television and computer games… For the last 8 years, her instrument of choice has been the ukulele, mainly so she can feel like a giant when she plays.

The Gary Moore Blues Experience

The Gary Moore Blues Experience who are a group of advanced and experienced players dedicated to the works and spirit of the great Gary Moore. The group covers his famous ballads Parisienne Walkways, Still Got the Blues, Story of the Blues, Still in Love with You, as well as his rockier side from his time with Thin Lizzy.

Matthew Quilliam

Matthew Quilliam’s HAPPY TALK is a feel-good variety show with a modern twist. Spectacle and shenanigans ensue as he keeps the audience guessing what may happen next. Marc Woosnam

Berkshire based musician, singer, and songwriter Marc Woosnam emerges as a compellingforce in the local independent music scene, celebrated through the release of his highly acclaimed debut album, 'Some Remedy.' This collection intricately weaves together a lifetime of songwriting, spanning 15 years of creation.

Tom Eric

Tommy Eric has dedicated many years to playing guitar and bass for other artists, as well as producing their tracks and albums. He has now taken the leap into creating his own music. His debut album, "Origami Hearts," is a project he wrote, recorded, and produced entirely on his own.

Ajay Srivastav is a critically acclaimed musician who reflects the life and lessons learnt as a British born artist of Indian heritage, with uplifting songs of protest and change. His unique rootsy guitar style is layered with inflections of sitar and sarod. This ability to merge scales, and techniques from classical Indian music with slide guitar playing, are down to his continual search for commonality where there is difference.

Alex Seel

Music has led Alex from Devon to London to Ireland and back again. Through his wanderings, Alex has picked up a beautifully crafted, rootsy song-writing style with thought-provoking lyrics and finger-picked acoustic guitar trait.  A contemporary twist on the British folksinger/guitarist, he has a growing reputation as a solo performer,

Blue Touch

Blue Touch are never shy to break away from the formulaic or cliché, Blue Touch are less about a Texas shuffle or waking up this morning and more about getting out, having a good time. They have been in existence in a number of guises since 2001 and have a new line up featuring guitarists Dave White & Paul Tottman.

TangleJack

TangleJack took its current form and name in 2013 when old friends and bandmates John-Paul Davies and Duncan Leigh began to perfect the two-part harmony and double guitar duet style that is now the duo’s signature sound. Sharing a history that began some 30 years ago, as the arty outsiders in the brass bands of the South Wales valleys, John-Paul and Duncan formed a friendship that outlasted their teenage rock band years, as well as the jazz and classical meanderings of their studies, to return to their folk rock roots as musicians well-traveled. Having spent their lives becoming the band, and the people, they were always supposed to be, John-Paul and Duncan have managed 30 years of music making without a cross word - three decades of friendship without ever falling out.
