Pete Crutchfield is a guitarist and songwriter from Farnham, Surrey, UK. Pete, who originally trained as a classical guitarist, composes his instrumental songs mainly in open tunings, and he has a particular love of DADGAD, the tuning favoured by many Celtic musicians and composers. His music is inspired by the wonders of nature and the beauty of the natural world, and his influences include the likes of Gordon Giltrap, Al Petteway and Pierre Bensusan. His song 'Winter Fields' was a finalist in the 2019 UK songwriting awards in the category of instrumental music.
