TangleJack took its current form and name in 2013 when old friends and bandmates John-Paul Davies and Duncan Leigh began to perfect the two-part harmony and double guitar duet style that is now the duo’s signature sound. Currently, TangleJack are promoting the release of their critically acclaimed new album The Ragged Edge, produced by Tim Hamill of Sonic One Studios, Llanelli and self-released in May 2024. John-Paul and Duncan captured the intimate recordings themselves in post-lockdown sessions that were filled with contemplation and optimism, producing songs that are challenging yet life-affirming.
